Seven Swords Productions Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 18, 2026 (revised twice that day: first to disclose our newsletter's ad-network participation, then to describe our own server logs on nexusbuilds.io; revised July 20, 2026 to add cloisterink.com to the sites this policy covers)

Summary. These sites set no cookies and use no advertising trackers, profiling tools, or third-party analytics. On nexusbuilds.io and cloisterink.com we keep our own server logs and count page visits by IP address, explained below. We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us: by emailing us, subscribing to our newsletter, or purchasing something from us. We never sell your personal information, and we never give advertisers information that identifies you. Our newsletter carries a sponsored placement, explained under Newsletter below.

Who We Are

Seven Swords Productions LLC is an independent media studio in San Antonio, Texas. You can reach us at christopher@sevenswordsproductions.com.

Scope of This Policy

This policy covers our websites (sevenswordsproductions.com, nexusbuilds.io, and cloisterink.com, which also answers at cloister.ink) and purchases made directly from Seven Swords Productions. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked from that app's page and App Store listing, that describes exactly what the app does; app purchases made through Apple's App Store are handled by Apple as merchant of record under Apple's privacy policy.

What Our Websites Collect

Not much, and here is everything. These are static informational sites:

Email

If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send, and we use it only to respond to you and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not add you to any mailing list because you emailed us.

Newsletter

Our newsletter, Wisdom Nexus, is operated on the Beehiiv platform. If you subscribe, your email address and subscription activity (such as opens and clicks, which Beehiiv measures) are processed by Beehiiv on our behalf under Beehiiv's privacy policy. We use this information to send you the newsletter, understand readership, and, as explained below, support the advertising that helps fund it. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. If you ever subscribe to a paid newsletter tier, your payment is processed through Stripe as described under Payments below.

The newsletter is supported in part by advertising. An issue may include a sponsored placement selected by us and served through Beehiiv's ad network, and advertisers pay us when readers click. Taking part in that network means Beehiiv builds a profile of you as a subscriber and, starting August 15, 2026, may enrich it with demographic information such as industry, job function, employer size, or location, drawn from Beehiiv's third-party data providers, in order to decide which ads you see. Beehiiv's own terms commit that it will not hand your profile, or any information that identifies you, to advertisers or other third parties except as combined, anonymized statistics from which no individual can be identified. We rely on Beehiiv's contractual commitment here rather than operating any of this ourselves, and we have not independently audited how Beehiiv implements it. If you would rather not be profiled for advertising, the unsubscribe link in every issue removes you, and your profile, from the list.

Payments

Purchases made directly from us are processed by Stripe. Your payment card details go to Stripe, not to us; we never see or store full card numbers. Stripe provides us with the information needed to fulfill your purchase and keep required business records, typically your name, email address, billing country, the amount paid, and the card type and last four digits. Stripe processes your information under Stripe's privacy policy. Purchases made through Apple's App Store or Amazon are processed by those platforms, not by us.

What We Do Not Do

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or various US states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Because we keep so little, exercising them is simple: email christopher@sevenswordsproductions.com and we will honor access, correction, deletion, and objection requests regardless of where you live. Newsletter data can also be removed instantly via the unsubscribe link. Where GDPR applies, our lawful bases are consent (sending you the newsletter you signed up for, withdrawable anytime via unsubscribe), contract (fulfilling purchases and subscriptions you request), and legitimate interest (keeping our sites secure and running, counting page visits in the aggregate as described above, and responding to your messages). The advertising and subscriber profiling described under Newsletter above is a separate activity from sending you the newsletter itself, and we are still working out what consent that activity requires for subscribers in the EU and the UK. Until we have settled that question, if you are in the EU or the UK and do not want your information used that way, email us or use the unsubscribe link in any issue and we will remove you from the list.

International Visitors

We are a United States company and the services we use (Hostinger, Beehiiv, Stripe) process data in the United States and other countries. Where those providers transfer data internationally, they do so under their own data-processing agreements and standard contractual clauses. By using this site or our services, you understand that your information is processed in the United States.

Children

This website and our direct sales are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Meaningful changes will be noted in plain language at the top.
